Sunday, January 5, the American Organization “Let’s Go Haiti” organizes in the department of North a great Marathon, in order to promote Haiti internationally and raise awareness among Haitians on the importance of athletics as a sport.
Approximately 50 riders, including 15 from the United States and 20 from Port-au-Prince, will participate in the marathon which will depart early in the morning, from Terrier-Rouge (NorthEast Department) to be terminated on the boulevard of Cap-Haitien (North), a distance of 42 km.
Premiums will be awarded to the first 5 runners for each category (men and women) :
