Port-au-Prince, Haiti marathon and our partners have worked diligently to provide all of our participants a safe and secure stay in Haiti. While in Haiti if you choose to, you will have the opportunity to travel to various parts of the island, including, but not limited to areas such as: Port-au-Prince, Jacmel, Les Cayes, Arcahaie, Cap-Haitien, Grand-Goave, just to name a few.
While in Haiti, you will be staying at one of the country’s top luxurious hotels located in the capital Port-au-Prince, one of Haiti’s most important residential districts. Partner Hotel for the 2018 race is Royal Oasis.

There is 24hr electricity and unlimited Internet access at all of our partner hotels. You are welcome to bring laptops and smartphones, as you will be able to communicate to folks back home through “Viber” “Skype” “Whatsapp” and others when connected to WiFi.

Arrival at PAP Int’l airport – Travel from the airport in PAP to Partner Hotels in Petion Ville
Check in / Welcome Dinner (Haitian Cuisine at Partner Hotels’ restaurants)
Night out on the town – Entertainment shows with the traditional music group RAM at the Oloffson Hotel.
Day 3 – Saturday, March 16, 2019
Breakfast at Partner Hotels. Depart to the marathon’s Race Eve EXPO (10AM-3PM) – Race Eve Dinner (4PM-7PM with cultural experiences, entertainment, etc.)
Day 5 – Monday, March 18, 2019
Breakfast at Partner Hotels
Depart for Airport
Check-in/Duty-free souvenirs/Depart for home
Day 2 – Friday, March 15, 2019
Breakfast at Partner Hotels. Depart for the 1 day outing – Visit to the national pantheon museum (Mupanah) (Great for history buffs).
Relax at the beach in Grand Goave (Taino Beach) and depart late afternoon return to partner hotels for dinner. Optional – 3 – 5K warm-up run around the beach area.
Day 4 – Sunday, March 17, 2019 (Race Day)
Depart from partner hotels at 4:30AM to the race START. Full marathon takes off at 5:00AM followed by the half marathon at 5:30AM. Depart from the FINISH of the race at 2:00PM to partner hotels for dinner and your recovery process.
