Help us make the March 17, 2019 PAP, Haiti MARATHON & HALF MARATHON a success if you are not ready to run. Please scroll down to complete the volunteer form.

We are glad that you decided to get involved. We greatly appreciate and depend on our volunteers vital service because without volunteers most road races couldn’t happen. We are also very pleased that you are here early, and considering to help us provide to our runners and spectators the support they’re going to need throughout the race day.

Benefits of volunteering:

You can become inspired to sign up for a race
You can save money, get a free t-shirt and race entries and access to post-race parties
You can make new running friends in the running community
Most importantly, you get the best view of the action

Course Marshals:

Marshals will be placed in specific areas along the course to keep a close eye on the race to ensure that all the participants are following the safety guidelines and staying on course. They will also be cheering the runners as they pass. But, the job is not to be a spectator.

Course Helpers will be needed for the following:

Registration
Course supervisors
Course monitors
Course advisors
Food Table
Bag Drop Off Area
Refreshment distributors along the route and post-race
Medals distributors

We encourage you to get everyone you know involved. We ask that you do whatever you can to share PAP, Haiti Marathon online with all things related to running and traveling.

It is very important to us, along the race route, at the Start/Finish, water stations and spectators areas, to show examples to help educate race attendees (the locals) of good recycling practices. We need to help event-goers sort their trash and dispose of them in the right containers.

PAP, Haiti Marathon volunteers take pride in their roles within the largest running event in Haiti. All volunteers will receive a certificate which recognizes your commitment to the PAP, Haiti Marathon.

Thanks so much – without participation of volunteers like yourself, the PAP, Haiti Marathon would not be possible.

After the race, all volunteers are needed to help with cleaning and breaking down.
