Marathon Day at Place Boyer (Start & Finish)

Sales of limited-edition finisher’s shirts and caps, LGH Marathon Results Section and local artisans souvenirs.
Due to production deadlines, the special marathon section can only include those who have completed the race.
Transportation
Participants are encouraged to use the LGH marathon’s official transportation to the start of the race on Sunday March 17. The Transportation Selection Deadline is 11:59 p.m. on March 16.
The LGH Marathon provides a very scenic Official Transportation to the runners participating in the race.
Entrants must select their departure location and time in order to receive an Official Transportation assignment. Assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. To assist us with planning, entrants should select “I Do or I Do Not Need Transportation” on the application.
Please note: Official Transportation is for marathon entrants only and will pick up everyone in front of their hotel promptly. Each hotel has its designated transportation. Do not attempt to get on a different hotel’s transportation because you want to be next to your friend who is staying at a different hotel. You will have to show your bib race number, chip and your hotel reservation in order to be permitted to get on the transportation vehicle.

Private vehicles coming to the race must drop off their runner(s) and clear out by 5:00 am before the roads are closed to vehicular traffic.

Private vehicles, are not allowed into the staging area and are not guaranteed on-time arrival.

Marathon’s Route will be operational only on one side promptly at 5:00 am from the starting point of the race to the finish.

Private vehicles are allowed for participant drop-offs only. There is no public parking near the start.

The walk from the drop-off area to the staging area is approximately one half-mile.

If you arrive in a private vehicle, you will have to show your race number and chip in order to be permitted to walk to the staging area.

Only officially registered entrants and guides are allowed in the start area. You must have your race or guide number visible to enter.

There will only be one start village for all participants.

The start village is outdoors and may be hot and humid; light clothing is recommended.

There are toilets in the start villages and in areas throughout the race.

Use the appropriate (city provided) containers for trash.

No smoking in the start village.

A full medical staff is available in the village. If you feel ill, alert the medical staff. If you are unable to run, you will be put on a bus that will transport you to the finish area after the final wave has cleared the start line.

A free breakfast consisting of tea, Natural Spring Water, bread, Bars, and Haitian coffee will be available.

Christian religious services will be provided.

We advise that you wear very light clothing.

Attendees may be asked to show photo I.D. There is no baggage storage available, and LGHMarathon is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Bib Pick Up
- Marathon entrants must visit the expo to pick up their race materials.
- You will need a copy of your registration form and your photo ID to bring with you to the expo. No other format will be accepted.
- You must pick up your runner’s materials in person with acceptable photo identification (see below) at the expo. We do not mail materials, distribute them at
- Let’s Go Haiti Marathon’s office, or give them out on race day.
- Residents of Haiti must show state or federal government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license, voters registration card or passport.
- Non-U.S. residents, including Canadian residents, must show a valid passport; national identification cards are not accepted.
- The Help Desk in the registration area will accept cancellations and will be able to update your personal information and resolve any other questions.

Your hydration during the days leading to your long run especially, the two days before the PAP, Haiti Marathon is critical. We encourage you to fuel up for the big day at the Marathon’s Eve Dinner. Enjoy carb fest Haiti specialties along with exciting entertainment.
Purchase your tickets for $35.00 USD per person if you did not purchase a Marathon Package. Products provided by local Haitian companies.

The Finish
Onslot Creative will take your picture and video as you cross the finish line. Keep your race number visible, your head up, and smile for the cameras!
Post Finish Line

Soon after you cross the finish line, a volunteer will place a medal around your neck.

Each finisher will receive a food/fluid bag containing bottled water.

Natural Spring Water, Recover beverage.

Local Haitian Coconuts, Fruits, pretzels and bread.
